My name is Laura, but my favorite aunt nicknamed me LaLa when I was born. I’m a proud Black person who also happens to be a woman, a wife, a mom and a grandma. By day, I create web copy and content for different brands, as well provide content marketing and social media management to companies in need of such. When the Spirit moves me, I’m also an author and a blogger.
Whether for business or for pleasure, I spend a lot of time online and I love to share random things I find along the way. I also like to engage in thoughtful discourse on a variety of topics, so this blog is my place to do all of that and more.
As for the “more” part, I have a hand in a few different projects and I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of them here, too. If you’re curious about those projects, I’ve listed a few in the “My Other Sites & Projects” section located at the bottom of this page. With the exception of my Work at Home Mom Center site, I guess it’s safe to say that I’m not afraid to court controversy. 🙂
