As an avid YouTube viewer, I figured it’s time to start a Video Of the Week category so I can share some of my favorite finds. To premier this new category, I’m sharing one truly inspiring video featuring a young woman who was severely burned as a child and who has struggled with insecurities about her appearance ever since. Watch to witness her vulnerability and courage in allowing her crush to remove her makeup and wig to finally reveal her true self.
By any standard, there is no denying the beauty in their conversation and the unmasking both parties engaged in. I genuinely think Shalom Blac is pretty and that her scars do not diminish her unique beauty at all. Of course, her spirit and her inner-qualities absolutely shine in this video. Equally impressive is the genuine way her crush, J Cook, shows appreciation for allowing him this opportunity to know her better and the sincerity viewers will genuinely sense in how all aspects of her beauty affect him.
